Montélimar railway station?

Opened in 1854 as part of the railway section between Lyon and Avignon on the line linking Paris with the Mediterranean, it also served as the terminus for the tram line from Dieulefit in the Drôme from 1983 to 1934.

Situated in the centre of Montélimar, opposite the town’s public gardens, the station is on the line between Paris, Lyon and Marseille.

It provides regional connections to TER trains, access to the national Intercités and TGV lines, and also to departmental and regional bus services to the Drôme and Ardèche.

Annual passenger numbers stood at 893,457 rail passengers and 1,116,822 passengers in total (train, bus, etc.), according to figures from 2019.

Montélimar is also home to a coach station serving buses from the wider urban area, the department and the wider region, travelling in particular to the Ardèche and other towns in the Drôme such as Valence.

• On Saturdays, from 6.15 am to 9.15 pm
• On Sundays, from 6.45 am to 9.15 pm
