Based on IGN reference maps (maps, Top 25, etc. for France and Spain), OpenStreetMap (Outdoor, Cyclemap) and SwissTopo, the app offers a range of services for your walks and outdoor activities:
- Suggestions for routes, points of interest and access to themed communities
- Planning your itineraries to prepare for your trips with step-by-step guidance
- Accessing and using maps without an internet connection
- navigation information and off-route alerts
- Import/export and management of your routes for itineraries and points of interest
- Sharing your location in real time
Wetrek free version
The app is available to download as a free version, with limited features, such as maps being accessible only whilst connected to the internet, which isn’t always practical when you’re out hiking, cycling or enjoying any other outdoor activity. The paid version costs the equivalent of two TOP25-style paper maps per year, offering full access to the whole of France, plus Spain and Switzerland.
