Ever heard of the ViaRhona, the soft path along the Rhône valley?
815 kilometres of greenway from Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean Sea, to the delight of cyclists and walkers.

Begun in 2008, its gradual development will continue until 2028.
“A link between the Swiss Alps and the Mediterranean Sea, ViaRhôna allows you to discover the Rhône valley by bike, with its natural areas, unique heritage, remarkable sites and gastronomy. The complete itinerary is currently under construction. “
By bike, on foot or with anything that runs without a motor, follow the Rhone River from Lake Geneva or Lake Geneva on the Franco-Swiss border to the Camargue in the Rhone delta, a gentle route that’s unique in Europe!
The ViaRhôna is also a variant of the Deux-Mers cycle route from Beaucaire, heading towards the Languedoc-Roussillon region and the towns of La Grande-Motte and Sète.
