From the Perrache interchange in central Lyon, theA7 motorway, known as the “sun motorway”, runs for more than 300 kilometres through the Rhône valley to the centre of Marseille, near the Saint-Charles tunnel and the Avenue du Maréchal Leclerc.

Following on from theA6 motorway between Paris and Lyon, the A7 motorway is managed by Autoroutes du Sud de la France(ASF).
Nicknamed the “motorway of the sun”, it stretches over 312 kilometres, with a toll-free section between Lyon and Vienne and then at the entrance to Marseille, at Septemes-les-Vallons.
